New Student Orientations
Each of UC San Diego's six colleges hosts a mandatory orientation program for incoming freshmen, transfer students and parents. International students have an additional orientation session at the International Center.
Orientation sessions help you:
- Understand your college and its requirements
- Meet other new students
- Learn about important campus resources
Check your college's website (in the spring) for dates, costs and how to sign up for the programs.
Note: You will not enroll in classes during orientation. Enrollment occurs later, in a separate online process on WebReg. You can review the WebReg tutorial from the Registrar's Office.
