College Ambassadors represent the university to 40,000+ visitors each year. We give the tours for prospective students and families.
What's it all about?
Are you a current student who's excited about your experience at UC San Diego? Do you want to make an impact on students visiting the campus? Interested in sharpening your leadership skills?
The Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools is hiring — you could be a paid student employee who conducts walking tours of the campus, appears on student panels, and participates in special events related to recruitment.
And you'll be working with a great group of people. Here's a news article about us.
What's the job like?
Five hours minimum work time per week, with summer hours available. Paid training time. Lots of walking.

Take a campus tour before you apply, just to see what it's like. Available nearly every day at 11 a.m., except Sundays and holidays. Sign up online for a Triton Tour.
Applications are closed for 2013, but check back here or on Port Triton at the beginning of Fall Quarter 2013. You'll be able to download the forms here in September and October – see you then!
