What's Next?

Is your student ready to accept their offer of admission to UC San Diego? To officially join the Triton family, they’ll need to take a few more steps to ensure they maintain their admission offer. Review the important dates and deadlines below to make sure your student is on track to enroll this fall.

  • May 1 - Deadline to Accept Offer of Admission

    Your student will need to accept their offer of admission through their applicant portal by May 1 for first-years.

  • May 9 - Deadline to Submit On-Campus Housing Application

    Be sure your student submits their housing application by May 9 for first-years. Even if they do not plan to live on campus in the fall, we recommend they submit the application in case things change.

  • July 1 - Deadline to Submit Official Transcripts

    Students are required to request that all schools they have attended send their official transcripts to UC San Diego by July 1. Only transcripts sent directly from the institution will be accepted.

  • July 15 - AP and IB Exam Results Due

    Results of AP and IB exams are due no later than July 15. If applicable for your student, they can request results be sent to UC San Diego, school code: 004836.

Tuition Stability Plan

We know how important it is for you and your family to plan for the cost of attendance at UC San Diego. We are excited to share details of the new Tuition Stability Plan, a University of California-wide plan that sets each student’s tuition at the time they first enroll and holds that tuition flat until they graduate (for up to 6 academic years).
